Understanding a minor character


This morning Miss Cash and Miss Edward’s group have been using the Michael Morpurgo version of the Pied Piper to help us understand the Robert Browning poem from the perspective of a minor character. How do. You think the little boy felt when the rats arrived? How did he feel when the rats disappeared?

  1. My favourite part of the book was when it describes the piper. It creates a clear image in my head.
